PICO BOLIVAR - Sierra Nevada National Park

The Pico Bolívar offer us the challenge to experience the extremes of a welcoming landscape noticeable by its verticality, white glaciers, nude rocks, frailejones and lagoons. Dominating the national park Sierra Nevada, this mountain majestically stands with its 4.986 msnm; and represents the tallest summit of the Venezuelan Andes. It is surrounded by the highest mountains in our country, all protected within the limits of the national park. The varieties of ecosystems in this area are conditioned by the altitude.
